The National Police has received six trucks that will be used to increase patrols across the country, specifically in various towns in the Cibao and Santo Domingo province. This is part of the program to guarantee that there is a least one police vehicle in each municipality across the country.
Police spokesman General Maximo Baez Aybar thanked President Danilo Medina and said the vehicles would be put to good use, and that as they were working 24 hours a day they would need proper maintenance to ensure that they could continue to operate well.
