The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) says that atmospheric conditions over the country will be dominated by a low-pressure trough over the Windward Channel and a northeast breeze that will bring humidity. These conditions will bring showers over most all of the country, especially the north, northeast, southeast, southwest and the Central Mountains. In addition, a moderate to strong wind is still causing abnormal conditions at sea, with waves reaching a height of three meters (nine feet) or more, representing a danger to small craft. Onamet is advising residents of the areas along the Atlantic coast to be attentive to maritime conditions. The cooler temperatures and rains will continue for the next day or two.
