Agencies recommend cutting DR bureaucracy

Cutting the cost of bureaucracy, making it easier to fulfill and comply with tax obligations and fighting against corruption would lower the cost of doing business in the Dominican Republic, according to experts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Listin Diario reports today, Monday 4 February. They said that such measures would reduce informal businesses to a minimum while increasing jobs and productivity. The International Labor Organization (ILO) said that business needed to invest in processes with high added value. These and other recommendations are part of the third initiative of a pilot project on inclusive growth and job creation.
