Passengers on a recent Sunwing flight flying from Halifax, Nova Scotia to the Dominican Republic had to spend the evening in Bermuda, after a father, mother and son refused to put out their cigarettes. The family apparently refused to listen to the crew and follow new non-smoking flight regulations. The pilot chose to make an unscheduled stop in Bermuda to deplane the family. As reported, Bermuda police boarded the plane and arrested the three passengers.
