DR plays ball for championship today

The Dominican Republic, represented by the Leones del Escogido, defeated Venezuela yesterday, Wednesday 6 February, 4-2 in the Caribbean Series and leads the championship 5-1. Today, Thursday, 7 February is the last game that will decide the Dominican victory. It will be played between the Dominican Republic and Mexico because the rules establish that the winner and runner-up of the first round go against themselves in a playoff.
