According to Hoy newspaper, the Pedernales Tourism plan, approved last year by the Ministry of Tourism, recommends that the Jaragua National Park, where the Bahia de las Aguilas is located, should form part of a nature offer for tourists with a non-invasive program of visits. This would include hiking, walking, camping and bird watching.
Part of the parkland is within lot number, 215-A, which was supposedly handed over in a fraudulent process to 1,491 people whose names Hoy is publishing.
