Attorney General Francisco Dominguez Brito has removed the restriction at the Public Prosecution office that has prevented people entering with ‘unsuitable’ dress, such as sleeveless shirts or blouses, flip-flops and worn or damaged clothing from entering. However, although this restriction has been removed, anyone entering the building is not allowed to show “any intimate parts of the body.”
He said that the measure was aimed at eliminating discrimination due to dress and physical appearance and would enable access for citizens to the main Public Prosecution office as well as the local offices. The only requirement for access would be that people should show both respect and good behavior.
