President Danilo Medina took time off from his busy schedule yesterday, Thursday 7 March to travel to Carrizal, in the southwestern province of Azua, to meet with members of the Orphan’s Heart Foundation. The religious organization plans to build low-cost housing for poor families. The Presidency reported that Medina traveled alone, without any of his close aides.
Medina boarded an Armed Forces helicopter and traveled to Azua without disclosing his destination to the reporters who cover the Presidency. He returned at 11:30am.
