Inflation in February: 0.33%

The Central Bank reports that the Consumer Price Index for February was up 0.33% compared to January 2013. The report says that accumulated inflation from January-February was 1.59%, and inflation for the past 12 months was 4.73% as of February 2013. This is lower than the 6% reported for the previous year-long period. The report says the main increases were in transport and housing costs. The Central Bank has forecast a year’s end inflation within the range of 4-6% for 2013.
