ANJE wants publication of budget management in 2013

The National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE) is calling on the authorities to publish details of the national budget performance by each government institution and each line item contained in the General Budget of Income and Spending approved for this year. This would comply with the principles of transparency and publicity established in Article 11 of Law 423-06, which is the Organic Budget Law. The argument put forward by Frank Elias Rainieri, the Anje president, is that given the 6.6% budget deficit last year and the fact that the government passed a budget with a 2.7% deficit, the public deserves clear signals of transparency from the government. Therefore, one of the most appreciated signs at this stage would be the immediate publication of the budget management of the period covered so far this year. Rainieri stated that such a publication would also help economic players to take decisions on consumption and investments.
