On the occasion of the celebration of the Long Night of the Museums in the Dominican Republic on Friday, 22 March, the Museo Altagraciano adjacent to the Basilica Nuestra Senora de la Altagracia in Higuey is inviting visitors to free guided visits from 9am to 9pm. Works by five painters are on show at the temporary exhibition hall.
An arts and crafts fair is being held at the Altos de Chavon Regional Archeological Museum in La Romana at 5pm, with folk dances, jewelry exhibitions and dancing from 5-8pm.
The Centro Cultural Leon in Santiago also announces their doors will be open until late, with guided tours of the popular exhibits. A folklore performance will take place after 8pm.
