The Minister of Education, Josefina Pimentel, called on students to attend classes today, Monday 1 April as the last period of the school year begins today after the Holy Week break. The minister asked parents to be sure to send their children to school to prevent any delays in the school calendar. She also reminded each regional educational board and school director that the number of days set out in the school year must be fulfilled together with the number of hours required for each level of education, as reported in Hoy.
