The civil society group Citizen Participation (PC in Spanish) is issuing a call to President Danilo Medina to fulfill the commitments he undertook when he signed the “Protocol for Transparency and Institutionalism in the Dominican Republic.” The civic watchdog group said that of the 21 points agreed upon to strengthen the public administration and push for measures against corruption, 63% have not been fulfilled, 27% are in process and just 9.9% have been completed, as reported in Hoy.
The group says that according to their monitoring, President Medina has not complied with the standardization of the information on the government’s webpages during the 150 days of his administration, as required by the Protocol.
