American Airlines did not fly from New York to Las Americas or Santiago international airports yesterday, Monday 1 April, as already announced by the airline.
As reported in Diario Libre, the last flight from Santo Domingo to New York left at 9pm. AA also discontinued its flights from Santo Domingo to San Juan, Puerto Rico (American Eagle). The airline will continue flying from Miami to Santo Domingo, Santiago, Puerto Plata and Punta Cana (three flights a day).
The New York route is covered by JetBlue and Delta flights.
Iberia has also discontinued its flights to Madrid. They will be covered by Air Europa.
