A tank thought to contain chemical products exploded at the Goya Dominicana factory in San Cristobal, which is located on the 6 November highway. As a result 13 workers were taken to hospital.
A large number of workers were evacuated following the explosion yesterday, Tuesday 2 April, and the fire brigade and Red Cross arrived together with ambulances.
