Fans can watch some of the best ping-pong players in Latin America competing in the III Latin American ITTF Cup at the Parque del Este Table Tennis Pavilion in eastern Santo Domingo. The event, which takes place from 18-20 April, is dedicated to Julio Cross. Competitions begin on Friday, 19 April at 9am. The three-day event is sponsored by the Latin American Table Tennis Union.
Spectators traveling to the area can enjoy the nearby attractions of the Colonial City, the Columbus Lighthouse, Santo Domingo Aquarium and Los Tres Ojos caves with underground lakes, in addition to Boca Chica beach that is about a 20-minute drive away.
