The Chamber of Deputies has approved the shortlist that will be sent to the Senate for the selection of the post of Public Defender (Ombudsman) as established by the 2010 Constitution. The shortlist consists of Altagracia Capriles Rosado, Zoila Martinez de Medina and Felix Antonio Cruz Jiminian. 123 Deputies voted in favor, 16 against and there were 13 abstentions.
