The Central Bank reports that the Consumer Price Index increased by 0.38% in March compared to February. Accumulated annual inflation is now at 1.97%, and inflation for the past 12 months (measured from March 2012 to March 2013) is at 4.97%. This is similar to last year’s inflation rate of 4.94%. The Central Bank had forecast that annual inflation in 2013 would be 4-6%.
