The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) is forecasting rain showers over the northeast, southeast and the Central Mountains for today, Tuesday 16 April. They also said that the high temperatures of over 30 C would continue because of a high- pressure system and the prevailing east/southeast winds. As a result of the seasonal conditions, Onamet is maintaining its call for water rationing until the rains restore the water levels in the reservoirs.
