Drugs would have been shipped in toy piano

The National Drug Control Agency caught on to a drug shipment after suspicions were raised by a heavy toy piano that was being sent to Barcelona, Spain via the Inposdom post office at the La Sirena shopping mall in Santo Domingo. As reported in El Caribe, the toy piano was packed with cocaine. DNCD spokesman Roberto Lebron said that a man identified as Jorge de la Rosa Maria was sending the drugs to a woman identified as Jirina Novakova, address Calle Gude 5, 7th floor.

El Caribe writes that DNCD and Inposdom have a strategic alliance to prevent drug traffickers using the mail service for sending drugs abroad.
