The opening gala Agroalimentaria 2013 exhibition takes place tonight, Wednesday 22 May at the La Fiesta hall of the Hotel Jaragua in Santo Domingo. As of tomorrow, Thursday 23 to Saturday 25 May it is time for talking farm business at the hotel. The event is the leading international platform for doing business in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean farm and agribusiness sectors. Agroalimentaria is the country’s leading trade show for food products and processed farm products: food, tobacco products and beverages from Central America and the Caribbean. Exhibitors and buyers are from the DR, the United States, Europe, Central America and the Caribbean. Now in its fourth year, the event has the sponsorship of the Dominican government and the Agribusiness Board (JAD).
