Work to start to improve water supply

President Danilo Medina has handed over RD$200 million to 78 contractors as advance payment to start work on a series of projects aimed at improving water and sanitation in Greater Santo Domingo. The 23 checks were handed over to Alejandro Montas, Director General of the Corporation of Aqueducts and Sewers in Santo Domingo (CAASD) yesterday, Wednesday 22 May. Montas said that RD$400 million would be spent over the next three months.
