Most of the terrorists who have been arrested and returned to their countries of origin, according to Listin Diario, have been from Arab and European countries, and the National Investigations Department (DNI) is on the watch out for more. They reported recently that several individuals from Sri Lanka, living in Canada, had stolen authentic Canadian Passports and altered them for use by Sri Lankans crossing into the DR from Haiti. According to operations director, Colonel Fidel Calcano, the DNI has been successful in picking up these people due to the work of DNI director Major General William Munoz Delgado.
