The government of Taiwan has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Development Temistocles Montas whereby it commits to donating US$50 million to support institutional, economic and social projects in during the present Medina administration. The funds will be released in US$12.5 million installments from 2013 to 2016. Ambassador Tomas Ping-Fu Hou signed for Taiwan.
