OISOE announces drawing for primary health centers

In an announcement made yesterday, Sunday 16 June, the Office of Supervising Engineers for State Projects of the Presidency (OISOE) the drawing for 50 construction projects for clinics and diagnostic centers for primary healthcare across the country will be held on 3 July. According to a press release published in today’s newspapers, Monday 17 June, OISOE director Miguel Pimentel Kareh said that the cost of these projects was about RD$2 billion. The program is aimed at providing quality primary health care. Pimentel said that these facilities should be ready by the end of this year.

On another issue, the Cabral y Baez and Aybar hospitals, the engineer said that within the next few days they would begin remodeling work on the Jose Maria Cabral y Baez Regional University Hospital in Santiago. He added that work would also begin on the Luis Eduardo Aybar Hospital in Santo Domingo.
