Police officers assigned to Dominican Republic Interpol, together with the National Department of Investigations (DNI) have captured a Russian, Aleksandr Andreevich Panin, aged 24, who was wanted by the authorities in the United States and other countries, accused of bank fraud via the internet.
He has been deported to Georgia, United States in connection with fraud of around US$5 million and is thought to be part of a bank fraud network.
