Nuria Piera, the investigative reporter, revealed on her Saturday TV show that the Medina government could be spending more than US$657 million a year to fund international health insurance for high up government officers, as per programs inherited from the previous administration. She said members of Congress, the Supreme Court of Justice and the Constitutional Court all benefit, as well as officers in a selection of government ministries but not all from the expensive medical insurance plans.
