Rains to continue

The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) have said that whilst a tropical wave located over the Eastern part of Cuba is moving away, the weather front over the Dominican Republic is stationary which will mean that the humid and cloudy conditions will continue.

They say that there will be isolated thunderstorms mainly in the south east, south west, north east, north west, border area and the central mountain range.

They have also said that there is an alert for flooding in Santo Domingo, San Pedro de Macoris, San Cristobal, especially Villa Altagracia, and Monte Plata.
