The National Youth Symphony (OSNJ) will be performing the gala “Sinfonia Quisqueyana” at the Palacio de Bellas Artes on 9 July 2013. This is the first symphony composed by a Dominican, Juan Francisco Garcia, in 1935. Soloists that evening will be violoncellist Allyson Perez, trombonist Julio Pena and violinist Josefina Guzman, all members of the OSNJ. Maestro Darwin Aquino will be conducting the symphony.
