Harlem Gospel Choir, described as the premier gospel choir in the United States, performs today at the National Theater to celebrate US Independence day. The choir was founded 26 years ago by Allen Bailey founded the Choir in 1986 and groups some of the finest singers & musicians from the black churches in Harlem & the New York City area singing songs of love, hope and inspiration. It is characterized for its infectiously enthusiastic music, rich harmonies and dynamic sound. The choir also performed yesterday at the Gran Teatro del Cibao in Santiago.
