President Danilo Medina was in Jimani on the border with Haiti yesterday, Thursday 4 July, for an event marking the start of construction of a 537-unit housing project to benefit families that have been displaced by the rising waters of Lake Enriquillo. The new housing project is called Pueblo Verde (Green Town) and will cost RD$744.5 million.
