Dominican designer Oscar de la Renta is being honored in the United States. Former US President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary Clinton were at the opening of the Oscar de la Renta: American Icon exhibit at the William J. Clinton Presidential Center in Arkansas on Monday, 8 July. Thirty of de la Renta’s memorable designs, including dresses worn at the Oscars, are on exhibit. The editor of Vogue, Anna Wintour also attended to pay tribute to the art of Oscar de la Renta and his 40-year career in fashion.
