Attorney General Francisco Dominguez Brito said yesterday that crime has dropped considerably in Santiago in the past month and he noted that every day it seems that there are fewer criminal acts or acts of violence. “As we look at things, we see that crime in Santiago is now below average regarding violence and criminal acts and also femicides, said Dominguez Brito. The Attorney General of the Republic spoke with reporters after he had met with the chief of the Central Cibao Command of the National Police, General Neivis Luis Perez Sanchez, who he congratulated for the work he has been doing. Taking part in the meeting were Luisa Liranzo, the Santiago District Attorney and investigators from different departments.
