In the first half of the year, the National Film Commission has authorized the making of 28 films in the Colonial City. This is up from 33 in all of 2012. The permits were granted for commercials, short and long films. The authorizations do not include the filming in individual dwellings, hotels or private businesses located in the Colonial City.
