Damajagua draws 32,360 visitors in first half year

One of the most popular attractions for tourists visiting the central and north coast tourism destinations, the Damajagua Falls continue to grow in popularity. As reported in Hoy, a total of 32,360 people visited from January to June, which is 18% more than last year. 19.6% more international visitors took the tour up the waterfalls this 2013, while domestic travel was up by 12.7%. Most foreign visitors were from the US, Canada, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Russia and Spain. A million pesos from the admission funds will be used to build community works for Damajagua.
