Cutting red tape to fast track classroom construction

According to Minister of Public Works Gonzalo Castillo, President Danilo Medina has ordered government staff from four separate institutions to meet and cut the red tape with a view to speeding up the construction of the 10,000 classrooms that he had promised for this school year.

Ministers of Public Works Gonzalo Castillo, Minister of Education Carlos Amarante Baret, the National Controller of the Republic Rafael Germosen Andujar, the director of the Land Title Registration Program, Jose Dante and the director of the Office of Supervisory Engineers of Public Works (OISOE) Miguel Pimentel Kareh met yesterday, Wednesday 24 July to coordinate the work.
