The Butterfly Effect, with its focus on fun, camaraderie and unity among women will again take place in Cabarete, Puerto Plata. It is in its 5th year. Women are invited to participate in the windsurf, kitesurf, surf, kayak and SUP categories on 27 July 2013. Registration night is Thursday, 25th event. Packages are available to those who would like to come for the week and include accommodation, airport pick-up, 3-hour coaching in surf, water-time in kitesurf and windsurf and yoga.
The Butterfly Effect is an international series of water sports events designed to empower women through water sports. Since its first small windsurfing event in 2007, the Butterfly Effect has evolved into a worldwide movement in 10 countries, with thousands of participants.
