A gas station owner was injured after being shot several times last night, Tuesday 30 July, during an attack in Santiago as he was on his way home.
Fausto Luciano, 78, owner of a gas station on the Joaquin Balaguer highway in the El Ingenio Abajo area, was shot in several parts of his body and is now reported to be in serious condition in a private clinic.
According to witnesses, two men appeared on a motorbike and shot Luciano as he came out of the gas station.
