The Citizens Against Corruption movement (C3) has urged the Specialized Prosecution Service in the Fight against Administrative Corruption to make progress on several writs that have been raised against government employees from the government of the former President Leonel Fernandez. Juan Tomas Taveras said that there are six or seven outstanding writs and not one has come to court. He warned that if there are not consequences for those who are corrupt and abuse public funds, there will continue to be a green light for corruption in the Dominican Republic
