Onamet forecasts more rain

The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) reports that today, Monday 12 and tomorrow, Tuesday 13 August, scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue over much of the country, mainly in the northeast, southeast and over the central mountains. These weather patterns are caused by a low-pressure trough located over the island. The prevailing winds from the east-northeast provide the humidity and the low-pressure area does the rest.
