The National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) confiscated a suitcase with 11 kilos of drugs in Las Galeras, in northeastern province of Samana on Tuesday 13 August. The drugs were found in a house belonging to a young man who said he was hiding it for his brother. The DNCD do not yet know if it is cocaine or heroin.
Luis Felipe Castro Laureano, 21, has been arrested and his brother Julian Castro Laureano, known as “El Bravo” is on the run.
