Two-time Dominican Olympics gold medalist Felix Sanchez failed in Moscow when trying to repeat his Olympic comeback at the IAAF World Games, the world’s leading track event. He placed fifth in the race.
Jehue Gordon of Trinidad ducked at the end to be the winner of the 400m hurdles final with a time of 47.69. Michael Tinsley of the USA did 47.70, a personal best. Emir Bekric (Serbia) won bronze in 48.05. Omar Cisneros (Cuba) was fourth with 48.12, Felix Sanchez was fifth with 48.22, Javier Culson of Puerto Rico was sixth with 48.38.
