The Ministry of the Environment has announced that more baby turtles are being born in the National District and La Altagracia province.
They said that most of the turtles are coming from the Caribbean Sea, and 12 turtles were confused by the lights from the coastline, but were rescued by staff from the Ministry’s Coastal and Marine Resources Department.
