Punta Cana Music & Art Festival is on for the long weekend that begins Thursday, 15 August at the Palma Real Shopping Village and continues till Sunday, 18 August. The opening night will feature typical merengue with Lupe Valerio and his group, and the folklore show by the Ministry of Tourism Folk Dance Group. Maestro Antonio Guadalupe, one of the best Dominican painters of all times, will be exhibiting his works. ‘El Artistico’ Jose Ignacio Morales and Teodulo Silfa Casso from La Romana, Cristobal Rodriguez and Martin Cruz from Higuey, are participating. There will also be arts and crafts for sale.
