A young woman from Azua, in the southwest of the Dominican Republic, has graduated with a degree in Aviation Maintenance from Western Michigan University and was quickly employed in her field. Carmen Lidia Bocio Agramonte, 25, is now working on Airbus planes, and with just seven months in the post she has been given the task of training her workmates. Currently, according to Hoy newspaper, she is installing, repairing, checking and adjusting flight controls on the Airbus planes. Bocio studied on a scholarship from the Ministry of Higher Education.
