JetBlue crew arrested for traveling with US$477,316

The Specialized Airport Security Corps (CESAC) has announced that it intercepted a Dominican-American man with an undeclared US$477,316 upon arrival at Santiago’s Cibao International Airport in the early hours of Saturday, 8 September. He was identified as John Michael Dominguez, who works as a crewmember for JetBlue Airways but was not on duty when flying in to Santiago airport from New York. The money was in a suitcase. Dominguez said he was hired to bring the money and would have been paid US$2,500 for delivering the funds.
