The National Police have arrested a US citizen accused of photographing, filming and having sexual relations with minors.
Robert Williams, aged 53, from Washington State, was arrested in Guayacanes, near Juan Dolio on the south coast, where he had been living for a month after moving there from Boca Chica. He was arrested during a raid on his home, where two laptops, USB drives and CDs were discovered.
Attorney General Francisco Dominguez Brito said that the Public Prosecution Service would clamp down drastically on sex tourism in order to protect Dominican children and adolescents.
