Dominican Annual Tourism Forum (FODATUR) is scheduled to take place from 29-30 October. The event is being organized by the Dominican Tourism Competitiveness Consortium (CDCT). Now in its third year, this year’s Forum will focus on Tourism Planning from the angle of the National Development Strategy (END) and the government’s presidential objectives.
The organizers say the conference will look at the positioning of tourism in the economy, the challenges ahead, and quality improvements in products and services to enhance competitiveness.
The topics to be discussed include the positioning of the Dominican tourism industry in the Dominican economy, Challenges Ahead for Dominican Tourism, Best Comprehensive Tourism Planning Practices, Incorporating Quality into Tourism Products, Developing New Tourism Zones, Consolidating a Proposal for the Implementation of the Tourism Strategy Plan for the Dominican Republic.
The event will take place at the Hotel Embajador in Santo Domingo.
