A call to identify corrupt judges

Three organizations have backed yesterday’s statements by Judge Daniel Julio Nolasco, who asked the Attorney General of the Republic to point out the judges who, according to him (Dominguez Brito) have been corrupted by drug trafficking. Junior Ramirez, of the National Convergence of Lawyers (Cona) and Julio Cesar Tiburcio, of the Dominican Alliance Against Corruption (Adocco) were in agreement that the statements from AG Francisco Dominguez Brito were irresponsible and called on him to use the proper channels. Tiburcio said that with the capacity to conduct in-depth investigations, the Attorney General should be able to find any judges who are accepting bribes or being influenced.
