The Water and Sewer Corporation of Santo Domingo (CAASD) has announced the suspension of water service starting this morning, Thursday 19 September for some 20 neighborhoods in Santo Domingo East for essential works on a 30-inch pipeline. The pipeline is located on the San Vicente de Paul Avenue and this work is part of the preparations for the Metro 2 line that will serve the area on the east side of the Ozama River. According to Listin Diario, services will be interrupted today Thursday and tomorrow Friday 20 September for those sectors in Santo Domingo East.
